Policies
Appointments are currently held at my office in Berkeley. I continue to offer telehealth video or phone appointments for those who are not able to meet in person. Please contact me for my COVID-19 policies for in-office appointments.
Appointments are scheduled for 50 minutes, at a frequency of one meeting per week. Depth/analytic psychotherapy is a process that can benefit from more frequent meetings, which is considered on an individual basis.
Fees
My hourly fees are adjusted over time, please contact me to discuss my current rate. I believe that everyone should have access to the therapeutic process and a path to wellness and contentment. I reserve a small number of sliding scale appointments in my schedule.
Payment is accepted through cash, check or credit card and is due at the end of your appointment.
Insurance
I currently accept Beacon Health Options referrals from Kaiser Northern California. If you have a Kaiser plan please call Kaiser for an intake interview. Once you have an authorization to see a Beacon therapist, we can schedule an appointment. If you do not have Kaiser, I can provide a monthly billing statement to be submitted to a PPO, HSA or other flexible benefit for reimbursement. Please check with your plan to find out what services might be covered.
